Buyer Property Spotlight
The walls inside 3103 SW Gale Ave are about to hear some magnificent new sounds. With the recent closing, this storied SW hills home will be rocking with some new tunes inside compliments of its new stewards. The buyers, a talented musician with a corporate day job and an architect with a heart in all things design, have long been Portland residents. Now calling Gale Avenue their new home means all of their passions can now expand and reach new heights, literally. Gazing over at Mount Saint Helens in the background off of the deck situated high in the trees will be a welcome change from their close-in NE bungalow. The artistic energy coming into and out of this house will certainly be something to keep an eye on over the years.
Featured on OregonLive in May 2025, this 1973 mid-mod designed time capsule was joined by 2 other lovely homes from other eras. The quick-offer referenced in the article was indeed ours, as it was paramount to secure our interest and motivations for this special home early. All said and done, we closed below asking price, with generous seller concessions and kept to a standard closing timeline, easily adhered to by fabulous local lender Steph Noble and her diligent team. These buyers are incredibly special to me for a variety of reasons. Guiding them through this transaction to their next phase continues to feel like a big honor. I've said some variation of this before... houses are homes only when they're made to be by the folks inside. I sure hope this house is ready for what's to come!
